Administrator, Youth & Social Netball Development Coordinator A dual role, the Nelson Nelson Netball Centre (NNC) Administrator is responsible for providing office support to enable smooth day-to-day running of the Netball Centre throughout the year. The NNC Youth & Social Netball Development Coordinator is responsible for delivery of our Social and Junior Netball programs.
Coaches, Umpires and Technical Officials Administration
Ensure an up-to-date register of qualifications
Communicate courses, workshops and/or associated events and functions as instructed by the NNC GM
Game Administration
Prepare and publish game draws and results
Manage online registrations and systems for all competitions, events and workshops
Ensure game related information on NNC Website is accurate and up to date
Communication
Regularly monitor all communication forums – email, messenger etc. Ensure these are kept up to date as needed
Circulate communications to the netball community
Administration of NNC Volunteers
Oversee the management of the volunteer database for all individuals who volunteer their time at NNC
Manage all police vetting for NNC
Maintain the volunteer database for all individuals who volunteer their time at NNC, include contact information, skills, qualifications and previous experience
Maintain training records
Maintain register of complaints from coaches, umpires and technical officials
Representative Teams Administration
Manage the administration of representative teams
Event/Meeting Administration
Coordinate administration tasks associated with training events, NNC events and meetings
Website
Ensure information on the website is up-to-date and accurate.
Upload and update documents as required
Netball Delivery
Overall accountability for the delivery of social netball programmes
Manage game day administration. This can be tasked to volunteers
Junior Netball Delivery
Lead the futureFERNS program at every level from Year 1 & 2's (4v4) progressing through to Year 3 & 4 (5v5), Year 5 & 6 (6v6) and onto Year 7 & 8 (7v7). Engage with NNZ resources and adapt as necessary to meet the needs of the Nelson Netball Youth community
Foster the game at community level particularly the successful delivery of futureFERNS programmes (mid-week and Saturdays) for NNC and manage all associated administration for game days (bibs, scorecards, coordinate umpires etc)

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Enthusiastic, well-organised and self-motivated
Strong customer services and interpersonal skills, approachable
Proven ability to work independently.
Available to work evenings and weekends when necessary
Proficient with Microsoft Office programmes – particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
Previous experience working in administration, either as a volunteer or paid employee
Familiar with Facebook and editing websites
