About the Team:
The Technology Group is responsible for the effective delivery, management and services of all technology disciplines within the air navigation services environment - engineering design, software design and development, technology architecture and infrastructure, asset management, installation and maintenance, technical training, workload planning, maintenance program development, project management, and logistics support.
The South Island Maintenance team consists of Communication, Navigation & Surveillance (CNS) and Electrical Technicians.
About the Role:
Due to an internal development opportunity, we have an opening for someone to join us as the South Island Maintenance Administrator on a full-time fixed term basis until 30 January 2026. This varied role is based in our Christchurch campus (Burnside), reports to the South Island Maintenance Manager and supports the South Island Maintenance team.
This role also provides reception cover on a rostered basis and contributes to Airways' wider administrator network.
The role involves:
Arranging, coordinating, and booking travel and meetingsSupporting new staff induction and on-boarding processesUndertaking a range of administration activities which include finance processing, purchase orders and receipting, overseeing lease agreements, fleet management, minute taking and reception coverDocument management, record keeping and reportingProviding technology support for the team in key office tools.

About You:
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Proven experience in administration, project coordination or similarExcellent IT and computer skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and SharePointStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships and work collaborativelyHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong prioritisation skills.
