Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting education in a kaupapa Maori environment?WaiTech, a trusted private training establishment since 1992, is the education arm for Te Whanau o Waipareira Trust.
They are looking for an exceptional Administrator to join their whanau.Based in West Auckland, this role is vital to ensuring a smooth experience for their tauira and kaiako while upholding their kaupapa Maori values.Your mahi:As the Administrator, you'll support WaiTech's operations by managing enrolments, maintaining accurate student records, and providing key administrative support to the team.This is a fixed term, part time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
However, some weekend hours may be required throughout the year.Key responsibilities:Process student enrolments, manage records, and ensure data accuracy.Provide excellent administrative support, including minute-taking and reporting.Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, tauira, and external stakeholders.Uphold the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice.Conduct regular surveys and compile reports to support tauira wellbeing and progress.You'll bring:At least 2 years of registry or administrative experience, preferably in tertiary education.Strong data entry and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.Sound knowledge of kaupapa Maori methodologies and whanau ora frameworks (or a willingness to learn).Proficiency in IT systems, including SMS (Enrolpro experience is a bonus).Great communication and relationship-building skills.Why join WaiTech?At WaiTech, you'll be part of a whanau-first organisation that prioritises Maori values and the wellbeing of our tauira and kaimahi.
