Are you looking for a chance to join a big name in the energy sector? Do you have experience as a dispatch coordinator and are ready to take on a new challenge? Look no further! Our client's 24/7 centre in New Plymouth is seeking a reliable and organized Dispatch Coordinator to join the team. This role will involve shift work, with a roster of 84 hours in a fortnight. With 2 weeks of day shift (06.30AM-18.30PM) followed by 2 weeks of night shift (18.30PM-06.30AM) each month.

As a Dispatch Coordinator, you'll have the chance to join one New Zealand's leading energy companies and play a key role in coordinating and allocating job requests to our team members. You'll have the opportunity to provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors and ensure that all dispatch activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. Our client not only will guarantee you a fantastic work environment, but a great opportunity for you to go into a perm position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinating and allocating job requests to appropriate team members

- Maintaining and updating truck and equipment tracking systems

- Ensuring that all dispatch activities are carried out efficiently and effectively

- Communicating with external clients and suppliers

- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

- Providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors

- Ensuring the dispatch office is well-maintained and organized

Requirements:

- Minimum two years of customer service experience

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Time management and organization skills

- Problem-solving ability

- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Strong customer focus

- Attention to detail

- Sound computer/keyboard skills

- Previous dispatch or logistics experience is preferable

- Experience within the Electrical Industry is an advantage

- Provide 2 past experience referees
