Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high quality, confidential secretarial and administrative support services. We are a strong supportive whakawhanaungatanga, (community), proud of the work we do as the largest workforce in the university, spanning every corner of the motu.

The role/Te mahi

In this pivotal role as part of a wider administrative team within the Division of Commerce, you will provide essential support to undergraduate and postgraduate academic teaching staff as Administrator in the Department of Accountancy and Finance. Key tasks include teaching support, meeting administration, coordinating events, managing reception, and assisting with financial processes including purchase card reconciliation, reimbursements, purchasing and invoicing.

You will be a self-starter with proven experience as a high performing Administrator and a passion for delivering exceptional service to your portfolio of clients. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.

Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to adapt and navigate new systems.

A willingness to be adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.

This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) position available, based in Dunedin.

The appointment range for this role at Level 4 is $59,285 to $63,651. Top of Range $68,744.

The Kaiwhakahaere Tari positions are remunerated at Level 5, with the appointment range $65,281 to $69,480.
