About the role | Mo te tunga Spring Hill Corrections Facility are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, committed individual who is capable of working in a wide range of office administration activities.
This is a rewarding and challenging position with a wide range of duties.
Your key responsibility will be required to provide administration support to the Teams within the Prison, but will initially focus on receiving and dispatching mail, parcels and stores and managing their handling/ transportation across our facility.
This role requires a high degree of time and logistical management and a candidate who can take ownership of this process.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a good all-round administrator, have a mature attitude, a sense of humour and be willing to cross train into all roles within the office.
Skills & Experience | Nga pukenga me nga wheako Our ideal candidate will have: * Strong communication skills which are a key component of this role, this will include liaising with people in our care, their whanau and other stakeholders * Experience with administrative systems, processes, and technology * Good interpersonal skills, well-developed written and verbal communication skills * Strong organisation, planning and time management, excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to adapt to change and support across a variety of administrative functions * Reasonably fit and strong, much of the work involves lifting * Ability to Grasp and implement new processes If you have a genuine interest in our kaupapa and if you are motivated to support others in a team environment, then we want to hear from you!
Salary range for this position is $62,217 to $65,934.
Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, New Zealand Resident Permit holder, Australian citizen or an Australian resident who holds a current Australian Resident Return Visa.
