Administration & Shipping Officer

Pope Textile Bag and Packaging have been supporting our agricultural and industrial sectors since 1907 with a range of packaging. We have a broad and loyal national customer base who have been using our imported bags for a number of years.
We are looking for an administration and customer services officer to help support our sales, administration, and operational functions. Key functions will be:
Providing customer service support by phone
Order taking and order entry
Receipting and coding invoices
Shipping (Import) including being certified as customs officer
Other office duties as required
The position is permanent with 32 hours spread over four working days per week (Tuesday to Friday).
The office and warehouse are in Central Christchurch with plenty of off-street parking and access to local shops.
A level of experience, maturity, flexibility, and a can-do attitude is important as we are a small team who work closely together. You will have a great phone manner and ideally have experience in office administration, customer services, and shipping imports.
