Au Mahi | What You Will Do
In this role, you will provide professional management advice and assistance, particularly in the areas of finance, academic administration, and staff management. You will also ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day management of the Department's administrative activities, in conjunction with the Head of Department.
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Administration Services Manager who has significant administration and people management experience. To be successful you will have:
Proven experience in leading, managing, and coaching teams in an effective manner.
Experience contributing to and implementing strategic and operational plans, working with stakeholders to achieve objectives, and leading specific operational projects.
Experience in organizing meetings, managing correspondence, and providing secretarial support as needed.
Advanced experience in maintaining and monitoring budgets, providing financial reports, and assisting with budget preparation and forecasts.
Skills in monitoring research grants and consultancy accounts, advising on budget discrepancies, and assisting with financial planning for grants.
Experience managing routine expenditure, ordering goods, and handling scholarships, reimbursements, and prizes.
Experience in liaising with professional bodies, community organizations, and managing events and functions.
A proven ability to maintain and update web pages, brochures, and other publicity materials, and to distribute information effectively.
Experience directing and optimizing administrative support functions, including streamlining processes and ensuring efficient task completion.
Excellent organisational skills, including time management and the ability to prioritise conflicting demands while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
The ability to form positive and productive working relationships.
