About Us The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) serves as the primary organisation representing the psychiatry medical specialty in Australia and New Zealand.

The role The primary focus of this role is to provide high level service, administrative and secretariat support to Tu Te Akaaka Roa – the New Zealand National Office, including Aotearoa New Zealand-based committees and other College groups, whilst ensuring the needs and expectations of RANZCP members are being met.
Meetings can vary from short sessions to full-days and candidates will need to be available for these.
Key Responsibilities: Providing administrative support including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and monitoring action items.
Being the frontline contact responding to enquiries from Members of the College, and the general public.
Coordinating and support local events with guidance from the Senior Coordinator, including marketing, coordinating registrations and processing payments.
Processing and reconciling financial transactions.
Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for College Members.
Supporting the NZ office with other general administration tasks, as required.
Some out of hours and attendance at evening events is required.
The successful candidate will have: Previous experience taking minutes and preparing agendas is essential.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in business administration or education required.
Excellent computer skills using MS Office programs including Excel, and a sound understanding of databases.
Demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi - the Treaty of Waitangi.
