Today, Prime Trading offers a broad range of high-quality products to the industrial chemical market of New Zealand, including the fertiliser, leather, pharmaceutical, textile, food, agricultural, timber, foundry, and animal feed industries.
Their team has a combined experience of over 75 years in the import/export trading industry.
An exciting opportunity is now available for a highly capable and energetic Administration Manager to join the team at Prime Trading.
This is a permanent, full-time role based at Prime Trading's centrally located offices in Napier's CBD.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll assume responsibility for all aspects of the accounting cycle, including receivables and payables, P&L reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll, month-end processing, GST returns, and more.
You will also provide valuable logistics support, including processing customer orders, managing import procedures and documentation, liaising with overseas suppliers, international banking, stock control, and more.
Full training will be provided to the successful applicant to enable them to hit the ground running in this exciting role.
In addition to the above, you'll take ownership of general office management and administration duties to ensure that the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key skills and attributes we are seeking for this role include: Proven office management and accounts experience Proficiency with accounting software packages, ideally Xero MS Office experience – Outlook, Word, and Excel Highly organized; great attention to detail Proven relationship building and customer service skills Hands-on; a team player with a "can-do" attitude Although not essential, experience in the import/distribution or supply chain sectors would be of value In return for the above, you'll have the opportunity to build your career in an established, successful business where teamwork and fresh thinking are encouraged.
