Administration Manager, NZ Embassy Abu Dhabi The New Zealand Embassy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is seeking a new Administration Manager. Korero mo te turanga - About the role The Administration Manager leads a team of six people providing administrative support within a total team of twelve. Key deliverables include but are not limited to: Ensure high quality administrative services are delivered by your team. Develop a capable, flexible and resilient administrative team. Be a positive and inclusive member of the Embassy leadership team. The appointment salary range is United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) 255,581 to AED 300,684 - negotiable depending on experience. We'd like to hear from you if you are an experienced admin professional with the following skills and experience: An inclusive leader, modelling Ministry values in all you do. A track record of delivery. Resilience and resourcefulness. An ability to lead and manage a diverse team in complex situations. Prior experience in administration leadership, preferably in Embassies or government, would be an advantage. Ideally, you will also have a good understanding of working with different cultures. A knowledge of tikanga (Maori customs and protocols) with the ability to weave te ao Maori (the Maori worldview) into your work would be welcome. If you don't have much knowledge of New Zealand and Maori customs and protocols, as long as you have a willingness to learn and a desire to develop your cultural capability, we offer training and support. If the successful candidate has worked or lived in New Zealand and is subsequently employed as the Administration Manager in the New Zealand Embassy in Abu Dhabi, you may, subject to individual circumstances, have New Zealand tax residency obligations. We advise any applicant who may be in this situation to discuss their tax residency status with the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department (IRD) to determine any potential personal tax obligations to IRD while working for the Embassy in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own relocation to Abu Dhabi.
