Methven Advanced Feeds Limited – Timaru, South Island
Advanced Feed is a purpose-built manufacturing feed mill, located in Methven, Mid-Canterbury. The mill specializes in the manufacture of freshly made, well-formulated fresh feed products for dairy, beef, sheep and deer farms.
We have a vacancy for an Administration and Logistics Manager within our small team. The role is full-time and primarily sole charge, but you will also be working closely with the Production Manager and General Manager.
The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and highly organized with an advanced understanding of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft computer products.
Duties will include:
Entering orders in the production system
Liaising with production and transport to dispatch orders
Monthly stock take
Monthly reporting on production figures to the General Manager
Health & Safety record keeping
Skills required for this role include:
Outstanding Computer Skills, especially in Microsoft products
Advanced level of Excel spreadsheet skills
Excellent Communication Skills - within a team and with customers and truck drivers
Enthusiasm and motivation, with a can-do, will-do positive attitude
Ability to work under pressure
Reporting
Data recording
Maintaining Health and Safety records
