Job Title: Administration CoordinatorIt is a great time to be part of the staff team at the National Support Centre of the Baptist Union of New Zealand.We are seeking someone passionate for the gospel, who is highly organised and detail-oriented to join our team as the Administration Coordinator. You'll be interfacing with our church pastoral and administration workers, responsible for general office administration tasks, and providing assistance to our Lead Team.Another significant part of the role is ensuring the accuracy of our church and individual data in our CRM database (Dynamics 365), which includes data input and cleansing. You will also manage some services for churches and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Who We AreBaptists have been ministering in New Zealand since the 1840s. We are a collective of faith communities bringing gospel renewal to people and places in our local neighbourhoods. We currently have 240 ethnically diverse member churches, fellowships, and missional communities in Aotearoa New Zealand.We endeavour to support our local faith communities regionally and nationally by resourcing our churches in key areas including property, finance, legal, HR, communication, leadership coordination, and social impact.This role is 20-24 hours per week, ideally worked between 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday to Friday, based on-site at the National Support Centre in Penrose, Auckland.Key TasksBe the first National Support Centre contact for churches and visitors, triaging general queries.Manage the CRM database (Dynamics 365) ensuring all information is accurate and current.Support the Lead Team with administrative tasks, meeting and travel bookings, and meeting hospitality.Maintain the constitutional "Lists" in the CRM.Supply the monthly Support Crew newsletter with Pastoral movements.Chair the joint Health & Safety Committee, induct new staff, and keep the policy updated.Provide Police vetting process for smaller churches.Gather annual statistical information from churches.Manage the Marriage Celebrant lists for the Baptist Union.Manage CCLI copyright licensing and billing for churches.Keep the office and facilities tidy.Qualifications and SkillsPassion for the Christian Gospel and affinity with the Baptist Churches of New Zealand.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.Previous experience in database administration, preferably with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365).Knowledge of health and safety regulations is an advantage.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively.Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.If you love the gospel of Jesus and are a self-motivated individual with a passion for customer service and administration, we encourage you to apply for this position.
