This role will provide comprehensive administration support to our Clinical Coding team who provide a timely and accurate clinical coding function for Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora. This is a fast-paced and agile position, suiting someone who can take ownership of the role, learn quickly and think on their feet. Communication and attention to detail are essential in order to succeed in this position. The base location of this role will be at Wellington Regional Hospital but you may be required to work at Hutt Valley or Kenepuru Hospital on occasion. Mo to matou ropu - About our team You will be working alongside a passionate and dedicated team of clinical coders processing approximately 75,000 inpatient events per annum. Our team is committed to meeting reporting deadlines whilst providing excellent quality coding, therefore it is very important to us that our administration assistant works with us to achieve our targets. The right candidate will have a proven history of commitment to teamwork, using their initiative, amazing communication skills and being proactive.
