Duck Island Ice Cream – Hamilton East, North Island Duck Island Ice Cream is a well-established, locally owned and operated ice cream company working in both the retail and wholesale space nationally.
We are hiring for the role of Administration Assistant & Customer Service Lead to support our office team in a variety of tasks based at our head office in the heart of Hamilton East.
This position will be based on site in Hamilton East and sit between 25-30 hours.
The business is busy and ever evolving, our ideal candidate needs to be flexible, open-minded and efficient to support the team.
All specific training will be provided but to be considered for this role, you will have an engaging personality and have proven experience in providing administrative support.
You must be able to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and the ability to work autonomously.
We are looking for someone who is systems strong and organised.
Each day will look different as priorities shift so flexibility and a can-do attitude is a necessity.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities Management of inbox and general enquiries Human Resource support Wholesale customer support Online Merchandise/Shopify Webstore Management General office support and back-up Bonus experience – valued but not necessary to be successful.
