This village is still in development - once complete, this stunning village will offer a range of modern, high-quality living and care options to our residents.About the Role: As the Activities Coordinator, you will plan and facilitate a programme of activities and exciting events for our residents, providing quality resident support, managing vulnerable residents, and communications with families.We are anticipating a start date of February 2025 for this role.Your responsibilities will include:Delivering exercise programmes, regular outings, sporting and recreational eventsTaking an active interest and providing input into the overall look and feel of the VillageEffectively leading and participating in activities as neededBeing the main point of contact for many residents in the VillageProviding excellent customer service to all residents, families, and visitorsLeading resident village communication via the activities calendar and weekly newslettersThis is a permanent full-time role.About You: Ideally, you will have experience in events, hospitality, or aged care, but more important to us will be your genuine love for all kinds of people from all walks of life.To be successful you will bring:A kind and patient manner and a positive can-do attitude, with a genuine interest and passion for peopleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAmazing organizational skills with high attention to detailIngenuity in mindset to help identify new opportunities for residents to have funA good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best exercise programmesA current and valid NZ Drivers license (and the ability to drive a van)A current First Aid Certificate will be an advantageWhat's in it for you?
