This is a part-time, work-from-home position suitable for individuals who thrive in a remote work environment. The ideal candidate will possess at least three years of experience in accounts receivable and bookkeeping, showcasing strong problem-solving abilities while adapting to changing work environments. ### Key Responsibilities: - **Invoicing and Billing:** Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner. Verify billing documentation and ensure conformity with company policies. - **Payment Processing:** Monitor incoming payments, ensuring that all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. Record and reconcile all payments received from various methods like bank transfers, cheques, and credit cards. - **Account Reconciliation:** Regularly reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and resolve discrepancies. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for the accounts receivable function. - **Customer Communication:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster prompt payment practices. Address any customer inquiries related to invoices or payments in a professional and timely manner. - **Aging Reports and Follow-Up:** Generate aging reports to track and follow up on outstanding collections. Proactively communicate with clients regarding overdue accounts and payment arrangements. - **Data Entry and Record Keeping:** Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping practices, maintaining organized and detailed documentation for all financial transactions. - **Reporting:** Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports related to accounts receivable performance.
