About the Role
We are looking for an experienced people leader to bring their insights and experience to lead our accounts receivable function. You will be leading a team of four direct reports and have the opportunity to drive and embed process and system improvements.
As part of the wider Finance team, you'll be responsible for keeping the business compliant with relevant legislation and regulators to drive best practice. You'll also be responsible for maintaining oversight of Council's debt and be a trusted expert on all matters relating to accounts and debt management.
About You
Your experience as a leader will help shape the future of your team's work through process and system improvements. You'll bring experience with a sound understanding of all the complexities involved in end-to-end billing and credit control functions.
You'll enjoy building positive relationships across the business and have strong analytical skills that will see you succeed at developing solutions to ensure great customer service.
Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in a leadership position managing people is essential
Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
Expertise in reporting and data analysis
Resilient nature and ability to manage and drive change
Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
Advantageous Qualifications
Experience using the Tech One financial system
Awareness/understanding of Accounts Receivable function
Local Government experience
