Job Description: Apache is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Nelson, NZ. As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of accounts. Responsibilities: - Generate and send out invoices to customers - Follow up on outstanding payments and collections - Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities - Maintain accurate records of all transactions - Prepare financial reports related to accounts receivable - Assist with month-end closing processes - Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues - Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related field - Energetic and passionate about finance and accounting - Strong planning and time management skills - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Benefits: - Paid overtime - Paid sick leave - Travel and spending expenses - Opportunities for professional development and growth Working Environment: At Apache, we foster transparency and open dialogue for effective communication at all levels.
