We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Payments Coordinator to join our Finance Team in our WA Support Centre.

About the Role

The Accounts Payable (AP) Payments Coordinator is a key leadership role within the AP team, responsible for leading, developing, and coaching the Payments team. In this role, you will ensure the completion of various data entry tasks, schedule, create, review, and release all payments appropriately, and secure the necessary approvals from Senior Management for payments across Australia, New Zealand, and other international locations. You will ensure that payments to Customers, Suppliers, Team Members, and other Business stakeholders are processed accurately and on time. Additionally, you will maintain the confidentiality of supplier payment master data.

As the team leader, you will oversee the planning and execution of all AP tasks and develop and cross-train team members to meet deadlines effectively.

About You

You are an experienced finance leader with a passion for coaching and developing team members. You excel at problem-solving, possess strong influencing, organizational, and planning skills, and are outcome-driven in your approach to work. You thrive under pressure, have excellent attention to detail, and demonstrate strong stakeholder management and customer service skills. Additionally, you have exceptional communication abilities.

You will additionally have:

5+ years' experience in a fast-paced Account Payments environment

Proven experience leading and developing a team

Computer literacy across Microsoft Office especially Excel
