About the role
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and support the accounts payable team based at our National Support Office in East Tamaki where you will focus on enhancing productivity and optimising workload distribution.
Lead and develop the team by driving staff engagement, encouraging growth and creating a high-performance and positive work environment.
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, maintaining high accuracy and quality while meeting business information and reporting requirements within deadlines.
Manage and maintain vendor relationships, promptly address queries, resolve payment issues and invoice discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms effectively.
Prepare and analyse financial reports including aging reports and cash flow forecasts and identify insights.
Support the Accounts Payable team and wider business with queries and invoice reconciliations.
Process and reconcile sundry and stock invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with product numbers.
About you
You'll succeed in this role because you have the following skills, experience, and values:
Accounts payable experience, with advanced proficiency in reconciliations and investigative tasks.
Proven leadership with experience in management teams, overseeing staff development and driving operational growth.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical capabilities is essential, with desirable experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communicator, skilled with interacting and engaging across all organisational levels.
Business Degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field is highly advantageous.
