We provide clients with a seamless and hassle-free experience by taking care of all aspects of the construction process.About the RoleThe Accounts Payable Assistant plays a crucial role in providing financial and administrative support to the organisation. This position is responsible for managing payments and controlling expenses, including the receipt, processing, verification, and reconciliation of invoices. The AP Assistant ensures the efficient and timely management of all payment cycle activities.What does this look like?You will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function for TW Civils & Infrastructure, and any other business units as required, ensuring that all suppliers are paid accurately and on time.Develop skills for additional tasks, including Debtors and Payroll DutiesProcess all creditor invoices promptly, accurately, and efficientlyGenerate bank export files for payments with Westpac as neededAddress and resolve all accounts payable queries swiftly and effectivelyInvestigate and resolve discrepancies with creditor invoices and ensure regular reconciliation of creditor statementsComplete credit card reconciliations within month-end deadlinesCollaborate with the finance team on accounts payable matters, including outstanding invoices, payments, and forecastsCreate and continuously improve accounts payable processes and best practicesWhat do you need to succeed?Demonstrate a willingness to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks consistently each dayStrong attention to detail with precise data entry skillsBasic understanding of accounting principles and practicesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and WordExperience with project management software (e.g., SimPRO) and XeroCompany BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive package of benefits for our employees, including competitive remuneration based on experience.
