Accounts Officer

What you'll be doing Working alongside our experienced Accounts Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company accounts and business operating system (eGlobal).
You will also:
•Complete daily banking
•Prepare for the payment of Insurer accounts
•Run end of month accounts processes
•Arrange payment of approved invoices and accounts
•Allocate expenses, invoices and accounts
•Assist with Premium Financing arrangements
•From time to time you may process insurance policy changes, eg new business, renewals, cancellations and when requested, assist our Brokers or Broker Supports
•Support the smooth running of the office such as answering phones, assisting with administrative or reception tasks
About you •You'll be proficient in Xero, MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and MS teams
•You've got at least 5 years' experience in finance and accounts
•Ideally, you'll have an understanding of insurance and insurance related products
•You have a great eye for detail and spot on accuracy
•You are proactive with excellent organisational abilities
•You have strong interpersonal and communication skills
•You take a collaborative approach to your work
