We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who loves the 'numbers' side of a small business, and who is keen to assist in other administrative areas for our high-performing team.
This will is a full time, office-based position - Monday to Friday, 8.30-5.30 at our East Tamaki site You will: Be great with numbers – small business accounting experience highly preferredBe a great communicator, both in writing and over the phone – most of our clients are from the Healthcare industry and accuracy is criticalHave exceptional attention to detail, and be willing to ask questions to ensure accuracy in your workWork well independently, and as part of a teamBe genuinely customer and service driven and take pride in offering great service to our clientsHave confidence to solve problems and make sound decisions as we work in a changing and fast-moving environmentBe interested in logistics, and keen to develop and progress in the industry.
Responsibilities and Duties: Accounts Receivable Management: Following up on outstanding invoices, processing new credit applications, and maintaining customer recordsDrafting accurate invoices on completion of jobs, ensuring accurate capture of client purchase order numbersReconciliations / accounts payableUnderstanding client briefs and turning them into quotesCreating accurate job bookings in our transport management system from client enquiriesTracking changes that are communicated throughout jobs, to ensure accurate invoicingScheduling upcoming workloads & liaising with logistics teamMaintaining communication with logistics team throughout each day, informing them on any schedule changesProviding after service communication to clients, creating and sending Proof of Deliveries Supporting the management of our warehouse inventory by entering incoming/outgoing consignmentsProviding administration and customer support services Qualifications & Experience: Essential: At least two years small business (accounts experience preferred) using XeroCapability and accuracy when working with numbersCurrent Class 1 Driver's LicenseProficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams etc) and general computer literacyClient service experience About the Company: We are a privately owned company providing specialised transport, logistics, project management and warehousing solutions to a broad range of customers throughout New Zealand in areas such as the healthcare and IT infrastructure sectors.
