Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for food and numbers. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of Invoices, stock management and payment processing and collections.
Key Responsibilities: Create and invoice out to clients Process incoming invoices for payment, expense reporting, and payment requests.Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances.Assist with monthly and year-end closings & stocktakes.Support the preparation of financial reports.Communicate with vendors and clients regarding account inquiries.Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.Proven experience as an accounts clerk or in a similar role.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Infustion) and MS Office Suite.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Good communication and interpersonal abilities.Team playerWhat We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and growth.A supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
