About the role – Mo te Turanga We are seeking someone with previous accounts receivable or accounts payable experience to join our Christchurch based head office team as an Accounts Administrator. This role will focus on the management of the accounts of our growing number of residents across New Zealand. You will become part of a tight-knit and supportive finance team. We are looking for someone with the right 'can do' attitude, polished personal presentation and with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities: Manage the timely processing of invoices for both weekly and monthly payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Review and cross-check invoices against statements to ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
Reconcile resident accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurate and up to date.
Provide administrative support to Care Centre/Village administrators, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations across the organisation.
Regularly report on aged receivables and follow up with Care Centre/Village staff to ensure outstanding balances are cleared.
Assist with payroll processing when required, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Step in to cover Accounts Administrator Manager responsibilities as needed, maintaining continuity of operations.

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field preferred. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
