Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting)Access Security & Control specializes in access control, gate & barrier automation, and camera surveillance. Our team of ten provides professional services to commercial and industrial customers.The Role:We are seeking an experienced accounts professional to manage the company's finances. This full-time role reports to the managing director and also covers other duties such as health & safety and some HR. The business uses Xero, Fergus, and Zoho as an integrated business package, and you will need digital skills to use these programs effectively.Key Tasks:Support the Director in the running of the company with tight financial management.Handle telephone inquiries and act as H&S officer.Manage purchasing and creditor routines and ensure timely payment of creditors.Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of all jobs and manage debtors.Oversee general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial management.Prepare Payroll and GST & PAYE returns.Prepare reports and participate in monthly meetings.Prepare annual accounts to Balance Sheet for review.Key Attributes:At least four years of accounting experience in a similar role.Fully or partially accounts qualified.Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines.Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, work independently, and as a team.Proactive/positive approach and mindset.Flexible and capable of growing with the business.If you have the above skills and experience, and you are a NZ resident or have a valid NZ work visa, please send us your CV with a short cover letter outlining your suitability for the position.The job is in West Auckland.
