ROC has become a vital support system for refugees from countries as diverse as Syria, Rwanda, Colombia, and Afghanistan. The ROC family is made up of over 80 dedicated volunteers, providing practical support across programs for children, youth, and adults.
Role Overview: In this role, you will assist with various accounting tasks, including:
Bank reconciliations
GST returns
Preparation of management reports
Assisting with budgeting
Supporting the accountant with end-of-month tasks
Supervision and training will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
A solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles
A relevant qualification in Accounting, or currently studying towards one
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Strong communication and active listening skills
Proficiency in conversational English
Excellent time management and organisational abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Time commitment:
Commitment: At least 6 hours per week
Office Hours: Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm
