If you reside in or around Hamilton, Te Awamutu, Cambridge, Morrinsville, or nearby areas, we encourage you to apply.Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAs a senior member of the team, your primary responsibilities will include:Client Engagement: Actively engage with clients to understand their business needs and ensure their satisfaction.Service Delivery Coordination: Organize and oversee the delivery of services to clients, working closely with the team to meet deadlines and maintain quality.Review and Quality Control: Review the work of other team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.Coaching and Development: Mentor and coach junior colleagues, helping them to develop their skills and grow professionally.Business Development: Identify opportunities to bring in new clients and expand our client base, building strong relationships and adding value to their businesses.Skills and ExperienceTo excel in this role, you should possess the following:Experience in Public Practice (Non-Negotiable): The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience working in an accounting firm. This experience is essential and non-negotiable.Client Service Orientation: A strong commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients, ensuring their needs are met to the highest standard.Time Management: Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively, communicating clearly with colleagues about workloads and expectations.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and warmly with clients.Technical Expertise: A minimum of 6 years of public practice accounting experience is required, with preference given to those with managerial experience.Qualifications: CA or CPA qualification is expected.
