Our Client: Our client is a respected and innovative accountancy firm servicing the wider Tasman region. They have an opportunity for an experienced accountant to take a senior role on the team and, beyond managing budgets, provide insightful information and advice.
About the Role: This role is Nelson-based and will be covering a broad spectrum of businesses and clients. Strong client engagement is essential - you will be responsible for helping develop and implement unique business strategies with your clients. The role will also require you to supply budgetary advice, cash flow forecasts, and in-depth analysis of business objectives and financial sustainability.

Key attributes; Skill and knowledge to execute the fundamentals in SME accounting. Build, maintain, and further client relationships. Understand clients' businesses and look for opportunities for improvement. Responsive to the need to balance multiple clients and priorities. Experience with projections, periodic reporting, and one-off projects. Confidence with technology to offer clients smarter ways to operate. Support team members including internal processes including client tax management and invoicing. Demonstrate a positive proactive attitude.
