Accountant

Certus Solutions is an Australasian Software and Services organisation with offices across Australia and New Zealand. Our head office is in a sociable and busy shared office environment in Takapuna and we have a newly created contract role for an Accountant to come in and help us out for 6 months. The role will be based in our Takapuna office with flexibility for some work from home once you're up and running. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller who is also based in Auckland you'll be coming in to help the shared services team while we manage through a busy time of change. The role will give you an opportunity to get involved with a variety of different parts of the business and really add value. Your main responsibilities will be: • Monthly management accounts and reporting including year-end results • Forecasting • Assist with external audit • Quarterly bonus statements • Balance sheet reconciliations • Provide cover for travel bookings, AP and AR • Other ad hoc tasks You will have strong Excel skills, exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills and have the initiative and confidence to work independently.
