Role Overview: In this role, you'll be managing a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting services, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The key objectives are to provide professional, commercial and financial services to the front-line operating businesses within the group whilst satisfying all regulatory and internal customer service needs. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents. Client relationship management, ensuring consistent client satisfaction. Providing advisory services such as budgeting, forecasting, and business planning. Assisting with audit processes and meeting all financial reporting deadlines. Utilizing accounting software, including Xero and MYOB, to maintain accurate financial records. Collaborating with the team to achieve firm objectives and deliver exceptional service. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. CA or CPA qualification (or progress towards it) is preferred. Strong knowledge of New Zealand accounting standards and tax regulations. Detail oriented - ability to complete tasks with high accuracy levels Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
