Experience constant variety in your role and seize opportunities for career development, as you contribute to the region's economic landscape.Responsibilities:Support the wider team with providing expert advice on accounting and tax matters to a diverse client base, offering tailored solutions that align with their unique needs.Assist organisations in identifying risk areas and sustainable planning opportunities throughout the tax life cycle, ensuring compliance and maximising tax benefits.Prepare technical accounting and tax compliance work, including tax returns and statutory financial statements.Support clients' finance functions by assisting with tasks such as month-end reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial modelling, board reporting, and process improvements.Engage in the planning and execution of multiple projects with precision and efficiency, delivering exceptional results for our clients.Nga pukenga kei a koe / Skills and experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.Commerce/Accounting degree.2+ years of experience in a CA environment or a Business Advisory role, demonstrating a solid foundation in accounting.Proficiency in preparing tax and accounting compliance documents, including tax returns and financial statements.Understanding of software tools such as Xero, Excel and data analytic tools, utilising technology to deliver efficient solutions.Strong ties to the Hawkes Bay or willingness to relocate.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail.Nga ahuatanga hirahira o te mahi ki PwC / Highlights of working at PwC NZUnrivalled level of access to industry expertise, both locally and through our wider global network of member firms, where you'll be enabled by cutting-edge technology.A cash contribution to enable you to set up your home work space.
