The Role:
As an Account Manager with Retailworld Auckland, you will be responsible for achieving and ideally exceeding sales targets by effectively managing recruitment assignments. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with clients and candidates in the fashion retail sector across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, and BOP regions.
Key Responsibilities Include: Managing the full recruitment process for clients in the fashion sector in a timely mannerProactively working with candidates to identify suitable opportunitiesManaging and developing client relationships through effective account managementSourcing candidates through job advertisements, database searches, and alternative sourcing methodsAttending client and Retailworld eventsActing as an ambassador for the leading retail recruitment agency in Auckland
This is a high-performing sector for our Auckland office, so we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
You will have at least 18 months of agency recruitment experiencePrevious experience in retail or hospitality (customer-facing roles)Proven success working in a results-driven, sales-target environmentStrong integrity, resilience, and a proactive mindsetExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalFamiliarity with tools like Job Adder, Seek PTS, Trade Me Jobs, and LinkedInA Bachelor's degree is advantageous but not essentialA customer-centric approach, with a keen understanding of the local market (Northland, Auckland, Waikato, and BOP) What's in it for you?
