The Opportunity: At Connex, we're building a world-class sales team to take the company to the next level. This role of Account Manager offers something unique and career-defining. Joining in an expansion phase for the business, you will play a key role in establishing work processes and structures that best serve the wider Connex departments and ensure Connex achieves short and long-term sales targets. In addition to this, you will be driving the exploration of new customers in new industries both in NZ and globally. Key responsibilities will include: Bring new sales systems and processes to the business Execute against Connex's Channel and Customer strategies Support the team in growing new business through new lead generation Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand Connex's reach, visibility and share of market to increase revenue Support the team to flawlessly execute key innovation and NPD initiatives Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in Australia and NZ Liaise with the design team and customers to implement updates and changes to existing project drawings Support the S&OP team by managing customer product forecasting Assist customers by physically mapping out new vehicle designs What's In Your Toolkit: With a strong track record of commercial success in a similar role, you will have a proven ability to manage targets, build new accounts with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. You must have a strong analytical capability to help navigate sales data into actionable insights. Highly driven, ambitious, results-oriented, and curious to learn and continue developing your capabilities. You will prioritize teamwork and want all individuals in the business to succeed. Experience within the Electrical, Marine, Industrial or RV industries is highly advantageous, and a technical background is ideal. We are looking for someone with 3+ years' experience in a sales account management position.
