We are currently looking for a Business Development / Account Manager with Flooring industry experience to join our team in Auckland. This is a great opportunity to be a part of New Zealand's most trusted hard flooring supplier and grow with the business.

You will need a passion for sales and giving a great customer service experience. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing the sales of our retail partners. High attention to detail, self-management skills, reliability and a "go the extra mile" attitude are essential.

Key responsibilities and duties include :
Maintain and build relationships with our retail partners
Regular in-person visits to meet and build relationships with all key personnel in each store
Introduction of new products
Setup of new displays and merchandising
Constantly working to increase sales of each retailer
Prospecting and bringing on new accounts
Working through warranty and product issues where required to a positive resolution
Working with and presenting our flooring to key influencers, interior designers, builders, architects etc.
Keep the CRM up to date with clean, accurate data and activity
Our successful candidate will have technical product knowledge of hard flooring (laminate, vinyl, hybrid) and have previous experience in a similar sales consultant, account management or new business development role. The ability to travel frequently is required as you will be covering the North Island territory.
