With a global reputation for using science and technology to creatively solve weather challenges and deliver scientific meteorological services and products.The purpose of this role is to:Provide outstanding commercial and technical account management to MetService clients in order to maintain & grow the client base.Deliver sales opportunities that meet customer requirements whilst contributing to the MetService strategic and business plans for the marine sector.Key Responsibilities:Ability to quickly establish and maintain key business relationships.Highly motivated with the ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets.Highly developed influencing and interpersonal skills.Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.Articulate, good presenter, numerate with excellent written skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Able to travel nationally & occasionally internationally.Minimum Requirements:General meteorological knowledge.Proven sales experience in specialist products delivering advanced technology solutions to end users.Degree-qualified in Science and/or Business.Knowledge of the marine industry.Ability to think creatively and recommend outcomes beyond the accepted solutions and possibilities.Etahi korero hai awhina I a koe - Why you should join our teamWe enjoy achieving, we appreciate creativity, and we recognise everyone's unique skills and qualities.
