You'll be part of a team that supports professional service clients to ensure they make the best decisions when it comes to their insurance requirements. Specialising in liability, this role makes a significant impact on the livelihood and reputation of our clients.

What the day will look likeYou will have the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals both externally and within our organisation.Your valued contributions will play a key part in the delivery of our solutions and services into your local area.Lead your client servicing requirements and identify opportunities for growth within your existing client base as well as new business.Providing professional, accurate and efficient responses to client needs, and be a liaison with external partners and underwriters.The coordination of client renewals and preparing premium calculations.You will be the clients' advocate in assisting them with their liability claims.Skills and experience that will lead to successThis role deals with a client base that is around 80% legal and 20% accounting firms. You will be working with busy professionals who require top-notch service and support. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate their fantastic communication skills (both written and verbal), and who are detail-conscious, administrative geniuses who can work under pressure managing multiple projects at once.
Other requirements are:
A strong operator with a wealth of experience in insurance broking or underwriting.For this role you MUST hold a New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) – General Insurance.Experience in handling all aspects and responsibilities related to providing broking services and compliance around providing financial advice.Proven client engagement skills, an effective communicator, an advocate, and confident in your ability to provide counsel and advice and negotiate good outcomes for your clients.A sound degree of commercial competence and the ability to understand and navigate the complexities and needs of your clients.If you have experience in liability, that would be amazing, but not required as we can teach the right person all they need to know!
