If not a typical media agency, who are we? PHD Group in New Zealand is made up of several agencies specialising in offline and online media, Search, Programmatic, Data Analytics, PR, Content, Activation, and Social Media. We don't book ad space or create Facebook posts. We merge the latest technologies, world-class strategy, marketing data, and knowledge of human decision-making with planning and buying expertise to deliver best-in-class communications solutions for our clients.
We are a part of the Global Marketing Company Omnicom Media Group (OMG) and encompass three integrated communications agencies covering media, digital, PR, social media, content, and activation.
About the role
Providing outstanding client service across designated client accounts; offering and implementing innovative communication strategies designed to meet clients' requirements. Effective contribution to your team through coaching and development of junior members and engaging with the broader agency through active participation in agency initiatives and shared client accounts.
Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualified, supplemented by 5-6 plus years of strong media planning and buying experience
Good understanding of media fundamentals and strategic planning capabilities across all channels
Active participation in creative sessions and workshops
Ability to consider stakeholders' requirements and their issues in problem-solving and decision-making
Ability to challenge others (internal, client, or creative agency) using appropriate approach and diplomacy to secure the desired outcome
Confident and articulate presenter
Ability to coach and mentor junior members of the team
Encourages positive agency culture and cross-agency collaboration and integration
