We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accommodation Manager for our beautiful Lake Tekapo Holiday Homes. This role requires someone who takes pride in providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring our properties are well-maintained and presented to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Management:
- Welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they are comfortable and understand all property amenities.
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests.
Property Maintenance and Presentation:
- Inspect properties regularly to ensure they are clean, functional, and in excellent condition.
- Coordinate with cleaning staff and maintenance contractors to address any issues.
- Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting where necessary.
Administrative Tasks:
- Manage booking systems, update property availability, and oversee guest reservations.
- Keep inventory of property essentials and restock as needed.
- Maintain records of expenses and property maintenance schedules.
- Monitor quality at all stages of preparation and presentation of food and services.
- Direct and oversee reservation, reception, room service, and housekeeping activities.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Assist in marketing properties by providing feedback on guest reviews and ensuring positive guest experiences.
- Suggest improvements to enhance property appeal and guest satisfaction.
Control and Regulations:
- Control the selection, training, and supervision of staff.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Observe liquor, gaming, health, and other laws and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in Property Management or hospitality is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
Familiarity with booking systems and basic computer skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
