Our School of Health & Counselling is seeking a highly motivated Counsellor who has been in practice for a minimum of 3 years or has significant counselling experience and is a member of NZAC or NZCCA. The ideal candidate should have either a background in teaching or be passionate about embarking on a teaching career. It is preferred that the applicant holds a Master's qualification (or is working towards one) in either counselling or a relevant field.

You will bring strong organizational and time management skills, be a self-starter with a good sense of humour, and have patience and flexibility. You will also have the ability to lead and work as part of a team and be adept at using your initiative. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds are essential.
This is a permanent full-time role based primarily at our Manukau campus; however, student placement visits may be required, and you may need to travel around the greater Auckland area, so a current full NZ Drivers Licence is essential. A passion for creative and expressive modalities would be favourable.
