We can't stress it enough; our customers are committed to us, so we need team members who are reliable and committed to them every day!This is a Fixed Term position working in our Inwards Locals team, where we need key players to be part of the initial process of getting our local stock off our trucks and into the DC. This is a diverse role that will see you working across multiple touch points.This role requires someone with a good degree of accuracy and the ability to problem solve to keep up with our fast-paced environment. This busy role will offer you a variety of tasks, including:Unpacking cartons from 1kg - 30kgsSorting by barcodesUsing a RF gunAssisting with closing/labelling and distributing stockOperating pallet jack/knife/strap machinesBulk picking and managing stockResponding to changing needs and being able to adapt when neededThis is a fixed term position until January 24th 2025Pay rate – $28.40 per hour40 hours a week Monday to Friday – 6:00am - 2:30pmThis role is to support our Peak Period through to January 2025. As it is our busiest time of the year, we are unable to approve any extended leave across this time including around Christmas and New Years (Please note, we do not work public holidays).QualificationsThis role will suit anyone who is:Physically fit and ableComfortable lifting and bending while being on their feet all dayHas a good level of problem solving and time managementStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to use initiative and work independentlyDistribution/Warehouse experience is desirable but not essentialAdditional InformationOur peak period is here, and we are pumped!
