If so, we'd love to hear from you!We have 2 permanent and 1 fixed-term (8-month) opportunities located in Christchurch South.Competitive salary of $82,594 + 5 weeks of annual leave and a robust benefits package.As Housing Support Manager, you will work directly with a portfolio of our customers and their whanau, building enriching and enduring relationships to ensure customers' housing and wellbeing needs are being met and continue to be met as they change over time.You will be supporting some of our high and complex needs customers and manage some disruptive behaviour situations as well. You will visit our customers at their Kainga Ora homes and, from time to time, attend meetings with key stakeholders to ensure tailored support and services stay in place for our customers and their whanau.You will also be required to work with our tenants on rent arrears and debt collection/recovery. Key Responsibilities: Build relationships with customers from all backgrounds.De-escalate highly emotional situations and problem solve.Work on rent arrears and debt recovery.Preferably have experience in tenancy, emergency, or social housing.Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is an advantage.Show passion for supporting customers with challenging housing and wellbeing needs.Foster cultural awareness, particularly in working with Maori and Pasifika.As this role requires travelling around the local area, you will need a current, clean, and full NZ driver's license (pool vehicle provided).As a Kainga Ora - Homes and Communities employee, we want to ensure you have all the tools and support you need.
