2Ic Assistant Manager

Job Description We are looking for a self-motivated person to assist in the day-to-day running of the farm.
You will be working alongside the sharemilker and 1 full-time staff member and a relief milker.
The applicant must have a keen eye for animal health, some pasture experience, and a good idea of what it takes to run the farm.
We run a 5 and 2 roster year-round; ideally, the applicant will be capable enough to run the farm so the sharemilker can also have days off.
Training is encouraged, and on-farm training is provided for the right applicant.
We are aiming for at least 510 kgms per cow.
A good salary with a bonus incentive for monthly production, as well as SSC and a grade-free bonus at the end of the season.
The farm is located 10 minutes from Invercargill in the Makarewa school district.
