Step by Step Training specializes in one-to-one digital literacy (computer) and vocational training for adult learners. We require part-time trainers/tutors to cater to the growing demand for our services.
We are seeking an experienced trainer/tutor based in the Invercargill region to join our team to provide personal training sessions to our students. The role is 'Work from Home'.
For this role you will need:
Teaching, coaching or training experience and/or adult teaching qualifications
To be comfortable with training students face-to-face and online
Knowledge and comfort in tutoring in the areas of digital (computing skills and software) literacy and vocational training
Experience with MS Office software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
To be adaptable, empathetic and compassionate
A home office/room as training is delivered on your site
It would be beneficial if you:
Hold 4098 or have had experience assessing with unit standards, or be willing to work toward achieving this
Have experience with XERO
This role can be immediate start or can begin in several weeks.

Step by Step Training is an NZQA-accredited Private Training Establishment with a nationwide network of tutors. We deliver a wide range of computer and vocational modules to adult students, who are usually 'returning to work'. Our main client is ACC.
We teach adults across foundation computing (Microsoft Office suite, Windows, Email, Internet, MS Word and Excel), and vocational skills (Xero, Sales, Office Administration, Customer Service, Numeracy, Literacy, Stock and Inventory Management, and Project Management).
What we offer our trainers:
Set your own fully flexible part-time hours between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
We provide all the training resources and support to upskill to teach all courses
Support from a Network Navigator and the wider Step by Step team
