Technical Support Seasprite at NZ Defence Force, Auckland Mo te tunga | About the role In this role, you will be responsible for the aeronautical configuration management of the Seasprite fleet, providing subject matter expertise in a supervisory function for all technical airworthiness matters. Your primary responsibility will be the management of maintenance documentation.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Providing specialist advice on Seasprite aircraft configuration control issues to ensure approved components are installed as per authorised configuration.Managing Seasprite platform related documents including weight and balance books and maintaining the relevant databases associated with efficient running of Continued Airworthiness Management's core functions.Providing support to aeronautical configuration and process management analysis, including interpretation and subsequent release of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.Applications will be reviewed upon receipt. As our preferred candidate, you will be a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or military Aircraft Technician with at least three years' experience. This process-driven role requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail that is critical to the safety of the fleet.
Additionally, you will also possess:
An in-depth understanding of aircraft systems including maintenance and operational requirements.The ability to communicate widely on issues and engage a wide range of stakeholders (including senior management).Basic Information Technology and computing skills, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.Please Note:This role requires some domestic and international travel, therefore a valid NZ passport and ability to obtain a US travel visa is essential.
