We are a roofing and cladding company working on some of the most stunning and challenging homes and commercial projects in the South Island.
We are looking for three experienced Sheetmetal Fabricators and Installers.
Key tasks and responsibilities include: Fabricating and installing European style metal roofing, cladding, flashings and rainwater goods, including non-ferrous material.
Organising flashing orders lists for workshop fabrication.
Positioning parts and subassemblies.
Operating fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, and folding machine.
Ensuring all customer interactions are positive, polite, and respectful.
Conducting all interactions with colleagues and managers in an open and collaborative manner to facilitate the best outcome for all required tasks.
Attending staff meetings and training as required.
Contributing to the implementation of the Safety Management System and of the equipment inventory.
Travelling to the project site, subject to H&S requirements.
Supervising junior staff.

40 guaranteed hours of work per week, divided into rostered shifts from Monday to Friday between 7.00 am to 6.00 pm, our business hours.

The minimum requirements for the job are: High levels of craftsmanship in the fabrication and installation of metal roofing, cladding, flashings and rainwater goods.
A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
Experience with non-ferrous metals like copper, lead, zinc, and aluminium.
Excellent knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings.
Ability to operate a Forklift.
Honesty and reliability with a solution-oriented focus.
