Your primary goal will be to support these individuals on their journey towards healing and well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide trauma-informed counseling services to young individuals, focusing on addressing the effects of trauma on their mental health and well-being.Respond to referrals from various sources, including individuals, families, and community agencies, ensuring timely and effective support is provided.Utilize advanced communication skills to empower young individuals to make informed decisions and develop actionable plans for their recovery.Collaboratively set realistic and achievable goals with clients, monitoring their progress and providing ongoing support.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions in compliance with organizational standards and contractual obligations.What You Need To ApplyBachelor's degree or equivalent in counseling or a related fieldExperience working with youth who have experienced traumaFull and clean driver's licenseProficiency in Te Reo Maori (desirable)Registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., NZAC)Working knowledge of office technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
