As a Permanent Reliever Support Worker in our Youth Services, you will be available for full time hours with the flexibility to cover all shifts on a rotating roster and when regular staff are not available.
Hours of work will be over Sunday to Thursday with Friday and Saturday off.
You will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of $29.10 and 5 weeks annual leave. We are currently looking for experienced, calm, and empathic support workers within our Youth Service.
It would be ideal if the candidate(s) had experience working alongside and building trust and understanding with young people.
The young people we support may experience significant obstacles in their lives, which at times is expressed in complex behaviours.
You will be a role model and mentor, helping youth to build self-esteem, resilience, and confidence.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference as Youth Support Workers play a vital role in shaping a young person's life, fostering emotional and social development, and guiding them through the complexities of adolescence.
