YOUTH SERVICE Dunedin - TEAM LEADER Full Time (Service delivery and staff management for residential services) We are delighted to be seeking a full-time Team Leader to join our team based in Dunedin. About the role… As a Team Leader in our Youth Services you will be responsible for leading a team of youth workers working alongside rangatahi in our community with the overall objective of providing a safe and supportive environment for both staff and rangatahi we support. This environment will assist rangatahi to develop practical life skills including household tasks, meeting education/vocational needs, cultural awareness, community activities and participation, building positive relationships with whanau and peers, and everyday problem solving and coping strategies. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of Youth Support Workers and ensuring the service is well delivered to meet the needs of our young people. This will include risk management and Health & Safety compliance. CCT Youth Services in Dunedin include emergency housing, transitional housing, and Individual Care Response in a 24/7 supported environment, and community supports within the school, home, or community. This is a full-time, salaried position, with usual hours of work being Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm. You will also be included in the Youth Crisis Behaviour Support on-call roster.
